I spent four days in the Sahara watching this man create a house from scratch. I was at a desert camp, and there was nowhere to go, as there were no cars. There was no distraction, as there was no wi-fi and I'd finished my book. Walking too far away from camp was out, as flies covered you head to toe in the "season of the flies." So I meditated and watched this man build.
